Dr. Jason Winkle, former Director of Combatives for the United States Military Academy at
West Point, New York. Two Major Events!!
On November 25th, 2011 at 9am, Dr. Winkle will be presenting on Team Building, Leadership and
Performance Under High Stress.

Dr. Jason Winkle is a Human Performance Consultant. He is the CEO for WinkleCorp, a Leadership
Development and Coaching company. His Ph.D. is in Leadership and he has been published in the
areas of Leadership, Performance, Crisis Leadership, Performance Mindset, Fitness and Performance,
Tactics and Strategy, and the Martial Arts.
Dr. Winkle has recently taken on a new challenge, as the founder and director for the Center for Leadership
Development at Indiana State University.
Prior to coming to Indiana State University, Dr. Winkle, as a civilian, was the
Director of Combatives for the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. He also
taught in the Values Education Program at West Point.

Dr. Jason Winkle, Ground Fighting and Combatives Seminar
A Valuable & Rare Opportunity to Train with Dr. Winkle!
On November 26th, "Ground Fighting Combatives Seminar" from 9am to 4pm
This is a "hands on" event so come prepared to train. Observers are welcome also, fees apply.
Dr. Jason Winkle has been teaching defensive tactics and combatives to law enforcement,
corrections, and military personnel for over 15 years. Currently he teaches the physical and the psychological
components of combatives through his company, WinkleCombat.
Dr. Winkle served as the Director of Combatives at the United States
Military Academy in West Point, New York. He was hired to develop and lead a combatives
curriculum designed to meet the needs of the 21st Century Soldier. While at West Point he
also served as the head coach of the Army's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitive club team.
He is a martial artist of over 30 years and holds instructor rank in numerous martial arts systems.
Prior to his appointment at West Point, Dr. Winkle served as the Martial Arts Coordinator at Indiana
State University. He also developed and taught a comprehensive martial arts program at DePauw
University in Greencastle, Indiana.
Dr. Winkle has been published in the areas of combatives, tactics, fitness, leadership, and mental
toughness. He continues to write for SWATDigest and served a term as the President of the
International Tactical Officers Training Association (ITOTA).
